The High Lonesome Ranch is a 40 minute car ride from Grand Junction, Colorado we are a guest ranch nestled in a stunning valley – a perfect backdrop for a very special, intimate ceremony. Our ranch, location and facility make us more suited for the couple that desires a personal, authentic experience with their family and friends, and encourage you to consider staying several nights to truly relax into and enjoy your time together as a group. If you are only able to do a one or two-day event, we can still provide the same excellent service and setting that will be both personal and fun.
Due to our location and design, we are limited to the number of guests we can host. We can accommodate 30 guests overnight (double occupancy per room), with meals included. (Note that any meals served at our ranch are for guests only, unless you specify otherwise.) If you need additional accommodations, there are other lodging choices– most are 20 to 45 minutes away on rural roads.
The High Lonesome Ranch has many gorgeous settings for your wedding ceremony and reception, if you want to celebrate on our Guest house lawn or at our newest addition Castle Rock Creek overlooking the valley hosting in a pavilion we are happy to accommodate and plan your needs and wishes.
The High Lonesome Ranch excellent Chef and culinary staff and can prepare almost any type of meal for your event. We will gladly help you plan the events held on our facility and make suggestions for needs or services you must obtain offsite. If you are not familiar with the area, we do have a list of local service providers – florists, photographers, caterers - and even a minister - who we have worked with and are familiar with our facility.
